Filter Press Working Principle:

The filter press is composed of five main parts: filter plate, hydraulic system, machine frame, hydraulic oil cylinder and electrical system. Chamber filter press work principle is relatively simple, firstly hydraulic pressing the filter plates tightly to form chambers, then feeding the slurry from the center hole, the slurry will come to every chambers, filtering the water out by filter cloth to get the solid liquid separation result.

Filter Press Types:

There are three types, high pressure round filter plates filter press, chamber filter press and high efficient membrane filter press.

How to choose the filter press:

1. Confirming the slurry character, during the filtration, big particle will not be allowed, because it will break the filter cloth. For the industries requiring high pressure (E.g.: sand washing, ceramic, stone, concrete and washed kaolin) customer should choose the high pressure round filter plates filter press. For the industries requiring low pressure (E.g.: Water class, Calcium Carbonateand so on), customer should choose the common chamber filter press. For the sticky and thin slurry (E.g.: dyeing, leather, textile and paper, customer should choose the high efficient membrane filter press having the second filtration.
2. Confirming the reasonable chambers capacity, the capacity in the parameters chart is for the capacity after one filter, customer should also consider the margin of filter capacity.
