The Electromagnetic Dry Powder Magnetic Separator is a newly engineered magnetic separation system designed specifically for the removal of iron and magnetic contaminants from fine powder materials, particularly in battery cathode and anode powders, as well as ferrous and non-ferrous mineral particles.
With a unique multi-pole magnetic system and a wide magnetic wrap angle, the separator delivers even magnetic field distribution and enhanced iron removal performance. How It Works
The separator is powered by a high-efficiency electromagnetic coil, generating a customizable magnetic field intensity suited to different ore properties.
During operation:

Powder is fed into the hopper while the separator is magnetized and one vibration motor is activated.

Once sufficient material is processed, feeding stops and magnetization is deactivated.

Then, the second vibration motor is turned on while keeping both motors running, and the diverter gate is switched to direct iron discharge.

The magnetic impurities attached to the magnetic media are shaken loose by vibration and discharged from the iron outlet.
This alternating process of magnetization and demagnetization, combined with vibration-assisted discharge, ensures thorough separation and minimal residue.
